The Obama Administration today announced another delay in the implementation of the Affordable Care Act (ACA). The latest delay allows individual policyholders with current plans that do not meet the ACA’s minimum coverage requirements to keep their plans for another two years if permitted by their state and the insurer continues the plan. As a result, non-compliant plans that would have been cancelled this fall could potentially be permitted until 2017.
